Coarse Screen & Fractionating Screen of Waste Paper Pulp

Last article has introduced the waste paper bales breaking and pulping process. This time we mainly discuss coarse screen and fractionating screen of waste paper pulp.

Waste Paper Pulp Coarse Screen

The paper pulp, which has been handled by High Density Cleaner, will be transferred to coarse screening system. Firstly slurry is transferred with pulp pump to the first stage middle consistency coarse screen.Pulp enters Light Impurities Separator to be deflaked and separated again. The tailings enter Reject Separator for final treatment. The accepts from Reject Separator flow into pulp chest. Light impurities are discharged directly. Accepts of coarse screen will be sent to the entrance of supplying pump for the first stage Fractionating Screen.

Waste Paper Pulp Fractionating Screen

The fibers in Fractionating Screen can be divided into short fiber & long fiber proportionally. The short fiber, which goes through the slot screen after thickening by Thickner, goes into short fiber pulp chest, and finally enters short fiber pulp tower for storage through transferring pump. The medium & long fibers are pumped to a three-stage Low Density Cleaner for removing slag. The tailings of first stage Low Density Cleaner goes into second stage Low density Cleaner. The accepts after second stage Low Density Cleaner returns to the entrance of pulp pump of first stage Low Density Cleaner. Second stage Low Density Cleaner tailings go to third stage Low Density Cleaner. Accepts from third stage Low Density Cleaner return to the entrance of supplying pump of second stage Low Density Cleaner. The third stage Low Density Cleaner tailings gather to bottom of slag tank.
